In this group project we did in STATS 101C class, our team leveraged data analytics and machine learning to predict heart disease outcomes. Our exploratory data analysis highlighted key factors such as age, exercise-induced angina, and ST depression as significant predictors of heart disease. We prepared our dataset with careful preprocessing, including one-hot encoding for categorical variables and min-max scaling for numerical variables to ensure model accuracy.
